Kimberly Rosales Vargas: I have gone with Mireya a couple of times now so I feel I can give an honest review. Before having a service with her I asked around to see if anyone could do nail art on my natural nails. To my surprise no one does that anymore, they only do acrylics. That is when I found Mireya. I remember the first time I went to her I was so nervous but she made me feel so welcomed. She talked to me as if we were best friends. She is super clean and makes sure she uses new equipment on me every time. Mireya is super talented in her work anything I want she makes it happen no matter how challenging it could be. Especially since all my sets are on my natural nails. Mireya takes her time with each set and I know she always does her best to make sure I am happy with the result. Mireya has become a very special person in my life and I am blessed to have met her.
Geneba Revuelta: I encountered bad customer service by a guy who worked there I believe his name was John. It was my first time there, not only was he rude but he also lied about the charge. I asked for a set of acrylic nails which on the sign it said $25 but when he finished he said it was $38. When I confronted him about the prices he said it was because he used gel I never asked him to use gel I just picked a blue nail polish and then he also charged an extra fee to shape my nails. I’m not saying I’m mad that I paid that amount what I’m truly displeased about is the lack of communication in regards to prices. I highly suggest that not only John but other employees as well Inform the customers how much they will be charged and the reason behind that amount.
Megan Goin: Always a great experience. I have had pedis, full sets and fills from New York Nails. It is clean, the staff are friendly and the prices are great. Lily does a beautiful job, never had a lift or a break. Tons of polish and acrylic colors to choose from.
Kavita Chand: I get my pedicures done here all the time. If you are going to pick a shop, this is the one. I’ve tried most of the ones in Modesto. They’re super patient and do good work. My immediate family and in laws all come here.
Jacqueline Blanca: Excellent service. And very affordable. Always accommodating and fast last minute appointments. She works with your schedule to accommodate you.
Christina Arakelian: I came here because she had such great reviews and I will definitely be back! Cathy did exactly what I asked for and checked in along the way. It was $47 for a new set. The nail stations are tucked in the back of a salon and there is 2 pedicure stations and 2 manicure stations. She has lots of nail art options and plenty of color choices. She accepts cash or card.
Kimberly Walsh Lauber: I absolutely adore this place. I have never been loyal to one nail salon before, but my gel nails last so long here. I dont know if its product or technique, but my gel nails usually start lifting at the cuticle within a few days at other salons, so it never seemed worth the expense. At KV, my nails last at least 14 days. They offer snacks and drinks (including mimosas) which is a fun touch. You can tell that they really want to be cutting edge in what they offer, and I am constantly hearing about new things they are doing.
As for the pedicures, they offer like 15 different kinds, so there really is something for everyone. They use these steamers on your legs which is so relaxing and something I have never seen before. I usually take my 6 year old daughter with me, and they are incredibly kind and patient with her. No matter what crazy nail design she has in her head, they do it just like she asks. I never feel like they think she is a nuisance. Everyone is great but I especially recommend Vivian and Vince. This place really is something special!
