1 /5 Ashley Murphree: Dr. Haas took no action on my abnormal lab results for a year. Each time, he would say "X on your labs is still abnormal. You look pretty healthy... Come back in 8 weeks" I was sick enough that I had to quit my job and he knew this. The appointments are only 7 minutes long. My request for referrals and tests were met with reluctance. His disposition made me feel like my questions were a burden. He made an inappropriate joke about men in my bed when I told him I had an improvement in symptoms through dust mite allergen control. I left his office with no direction and tears many times. I only wish I had moved on to another doctor sooner, I felt like I was stuck with him in order to not have to start over entirely with my history.
By contrast, the allergist in his office, Janara Iman, is brilliant and listened to me, advocated for me, and solved a big piece of my inflammatory puzzle.
