Alex Wiley: Such a unique property and collection. Definitely do a tour!! Our guide was super knowledgeable and added a ton of color to the experience. The setting is gorgeous and is beautifully framed by many of the "portal" pieces on the property.
Clinton Tran: It’s best to take photos before 3pm or you’ll be having the blaring sun in your precious photos. The sign is next to the train tracks so be sure to be careful and not get hit by the train otherwise it will ruin your precious trip to wine country. It’s best to pull to the side to the sign area coming north otherwise coming from south you’ll have to turn left and that’ll block traffic and ruin other people’s precious time. Also be careful getting back onto road after taking pictures.
Dean Adams: This may have been the the best, most personal, inviting, and enjoyable wine tasting experience Ive ever had. My wife and I visited OBrien on a Wednesday at noon. We met with our Host, Bart. We started with a quick welcome tasting of sparkling wine, and a short tour of the wine making facility and barrel room. What followed wasnt a wine tasting, it was a story of life, love, and wine. Bart crafted a story about the winery, his wife, and the stories behind the wines. He was able to weave our life story with his story and it was a very moving intimate journey of self reflection. My wife was in near tears of joy at the end of the tasting experience. His thoughtful comments and engaging personality just made our day. All of that and we had wine, charcuterie, and cheese too! We enjoyed their different turn on Chardonnay, the Merlot, Seduction, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Its amazing what they do on the estate with only 40 acres. We joined the club and look forward to remembering our experience while drinking the wine. Im likely paraphrasing our host, but he said theres nothing better than sharing a bottle of wine between you and your partner. Highly recommend, a must visit.
Rosalee Regalado: I love hiking this mountain. There are various trails that wrap around the mountain. The most popular trail is the one that leads directly to the top lookout. A humbling view. Beautiful! This is one of my favorite hikes to engage in.
Rosalee Regalado: What a humbling experience this was. I read stories about the dogs that gave their lives or were mamed in the war. I had tears in my eyes viewing the statues of the dogs with prosthetic limbs and missing eye. Very touching. They had an event that was dedicated to the TV series Mash. There were people dressed up like the characters in the show.p Great jazz band called Paper Moon were really good. Complementary cocktails and hors doervres. Tons of fun!
