1 /5 Alex Zamora: Worst place ever to take your car, I have recorded conversation of what was promised to be done, paper trail of things charged. And the car is still not drivable this issue has been pending since COVID, they pushed back service dates till the warranty expired. They were reported to the B.A.R. and told the shop to fix the issues since I had warranty. Im sure the shop will try and say different but feel free and inspect my car. Please beware look at the mechanic and go from there.

Both times I have come here I’ve been truly scared to see the price tag because the work needed has been significant, but this place always has the best pricing and many different payment options to include payment plan on your credit. Shout out to Jose for fixing my car this time and being so nice! Also huge shout out to Maggie and Miriam- the nicest ladies and most helpful ever!! This is the only place I trust for all my vehicle repair needs. I can’t say enough about how great On Broadway Auto Care is!

Zanna Liedike: Pulled in to get an estimate on an A/C diagnostic. The mechanic came out and greeted me right away. He asked me a few questions and asked to pull the car into the lift. After 2 mins he determined I needed a few small valves and a recharge. Did the work right away and I was out in less than an hour. A/C works!! Great experience and very reasonable cost. Will definitely go back.

Petes Precision Automotive - Chula Vista

S D: 25 years ago, I brought in a 1980 Honda Prelude to Petes for an engine rebuild. They got it done at a reasonable price, but unfortunately I had to let that car go. Unfortunate because I wouldnt be taking it into Petes anymore. Thats until we got a Honda Pilot that needed its 100k maintenance. The stealership wanted $6k for the service. Granted, its a lot of work: replace the timing belt, drive belt, spark plugs, etc. Petes got it done for less than half. Petes even fixed the door ajar sensor (the stealership said it needed to go to a body shop to pound out a dent in the door). Ive now had 2 bad experiences from 2 different Honda dealers. The first, a transmission component that they wouldnt honor the drivetrain warranty on, and the 2nd being the ridiculous amount of money they wanted for the $100k service. Honda dealers simply wont work with customers. Probably because everyone wants a Honda. I will never take a Honda to the dealer for service again. I will definitely be back to Petes for any major service. It feels good to find a mechanic I can trust. The only thing to be mindful of is that Petes is in high demand, so appointments can be a month or so out. Which in my mind, means that Im not the only satisfied repeat customer. Thats not such a bad thing.

Owain Kanaway: They used to be a fair automotive service, now they are no different than any other automotive service. Got bad vibes from Jose and his crew, and twice already he tried to make me overpay for something I shouldnt. He wanted to charge me $125 to replace an air filter, then was willing to make me pay $2200 to replace some engine filter when the engine isnt damaged. Maybe it was different under Ray, but if you are not informative about automobiles, Jose will try to exploit you. Edit: Me being allergic to Christianity has nothing to do with the vibes I bring out. Most of my friends and family members are Christian. The world today is meaner and nastier today, and a lot of those negative people claim to be Christian. If you want to counter my review on your autoshop fine, but the moment you get personal and make assumptions about me because of my religious beliefs, then you are out of line and it makes you look like an asshole. Also my review on your shop is fair, you will overcharge for your services if you feel like you can take advantage of their lack of car knowledge. Regarding my google reviews, most services especially at fast food services are horrible. If a store has a quality service, I really dont need to say anything because I rarely write reviews.
