Brenda Burston: What a welcoming church! If you are looking for a friendly, welcoming church with beautiful worship, solid teaching and something for everyone in the family then I recommend you attend Sanctuary. What really meant something to me was the church’s desire to connect with the larger community outside their doors. A truly beautiful community of believers.

Gabriela Moreno: Attended for the first time and was warmly greeted. Plenty of free street parking in the area. The message and worship songs were on point and relevant. The pastor is really passionate, funny and said hello before and after the service. Definitely coming back :)
Brave Church San Francisco - San Francisco
Eric Smelser: I have known Pastor Al since 2000. I call him amazing Al. Pastor Al is a very giving person, always willing to pray for me and for those who have prayer requests. Pastor Al greets everyone at Brave Church San Francisco, the people who are attending the church for the first time, and the members of the church. Pastor Al gave me tremendous support at my wedding in 2005. Pastor Al was the MC at my wedding as well, and he was the gate keeper of my wallet because my wallet was so large that it was too big for my pocket. :-) The people at Brave Church are loving and supportive. When you come to Brave Church in San Francisco, after your first visit, you will want to return over and over again.

T Morgan: Amazing atmosphere! Pastor Dave and his wife/congregation super friendly and sweet. He invited us to lunch w/his sponsor. Fellowship was heartfelt and genuine…Truly Love of the Lord was present. Not religious but relationship driven. I can see why GOD has blessed this church family. Will be back (Lord’s will) when back in California. GOD is good!!!! All the time.

Patty Smith: This church is amazing for people who want to feel God’s presence in Worship! They believe and practice in the supernatural through praying for healing, and prophetic words that are life changing!

Krishin Asnani: Saw a friend through cafe window and joined her to attend a choir here ; it was a melodic soundtrack to the pageantry of the lights, the stained glass windows, the art and the architecture of the church! That’s what religion is to me - a work of literature and music, something which my favorite Hindu goddess Saraswati specializes in. I later went to a jazz pub to finish the circle of scared and the profane.
    Canvas SF - San Francisco

Sydney McDowell: Weve been attending Canvas Church for a few years now, and it has truly become a meaningful part of our life in San Francisco. We first discovered Canvas when it was still a mobile church, and its been an incredible journey to see it grow and find its permanent home at 385 Moraga in The Presidio. Having been raised in the church, I was looking for something a little different—something that felt both grounded and fresh. I found that in Canvas. One of the things that resonated with me most is how Pastor Travis focuses less on life after death, and more on how to live fully, intentionally, and with purpose in the here and now. His messages are thoughtful, relevant, and often challenge me in the best ways. The community here is genuinely diverse and welcoming—there are young professionals new to SF, families with kids of all ages (our morning kids classes often have 25-30 children!), and folks who’ve called San Francisco home for decades. In a city that can sometimes feel isolating or hard to break into, Canvas offers a warm, supportive place to build connection. Whether youre exploring faith for the first time or have been on the journey for a while, Canvas is a place where youre invited to show up just as you are. Were so grateful to be part of it.

Stephanie Drago: These are the most loving, most outreaching people I’ve ever met. They become your family the way a church should be. The first time I came I had to go back. The word of God is number one in this church. They proclaim the Gospel and the Love of Christ. If you are looking for fellowship and the Gospel truth you will find it in this fellowship. I love all of my brothers and sisters in this church.

Saint Boniface Catholic Church - San Francisco
Kari Della-Rocco: This was an absolutely beautiful church. Its in my neighborhood and while walking my dog I thought I would stop and ask if I could pray. They kindly welcomed me and my dog in and allowed us our time with the Lord. Wonderful wonderful church absolutely gorgeous! They treated us with Kindly and without judgment. Isnt that what church is all about or should be all about. These are people who were walking in their truth. May God-bless them each and everyone. Thank you for allowing us to spend some time there with the Lord. Miss Kari D
