Jason and his wife Jenelle are cornerstones of the community. The church is inclusive and LGBTQ+ friendly. We found our home here for sure.

The community is a diverse mix from all different backgrounds and I love the message that Pastor Jason sets of being good Christians to everyone and that we need all different types of people in our life to challenge us and makes us better people. The congregation may be small but it is full of lovely human beings. The live music is amazing and has a very soulful bluegrass feel. I love that this Church takes care of the homeless right at its doors. They really set a good example for the kind of Christians I want my kids to be by doing rather than just preaching. The pastor Jason is also a college professor and my husband and I love listening to his thoughtful sermons and deep insight. He freely admits that everyone is not always going to agree with everything he says, but his general messages of treating others well is always present in every sermon. I have gone to many Churches where I feel like I am going through a routine or the preacher/pastor/ priest gets too political. I have finally found a Church that fits.

5 /5 Lucy Salazar: I’ve been attending Oceanside Sanctuary Church for about 6 years. I was looking for a deeper spiritual life and happily found this amazing church. First, I love the beautiful, stained glass historic building. But the real gems are the co-pastors, Jason and Jenell Coker and all the wonderful people that are a part of this church. It is a rare space where all are welcome, where we are asked to think and live deeply in our faith. It is a rare space of inclusion, love, diversity, while embracing the word of God and the life of Jesus. It is a rare space of welcoming atheists, agnostics, and those who aren’t sure what they believe. And we find so many ways to be of service to our community. This loving community has restored my faith, given me a new home, and connected me to the wonders of God.

5 /5 Erin Papaleo: I go here for Sarahs Hope free pantry to help sustain my daughter and I. They have amazing healthy options. A lot of stuff from Trader Joes. Plus you get to pick your own items which adds a sense of respect and its just nice to have your choice...it makes it more like a regular shopping trip. The people are so nice and give a courtesy call to remind you that its your day to come in. This has been a real life saver for us!

Vanessa Munoz Mena: Absolutely amazing church. Very welcoming. Kind and awesome staff. Nice pastor. Great word. Fellowship before or after the service with coffee, cornhole and bounce house for the kids. Childrens church ages K-5th, 3y-5y, and infants. For family with infants and nursing babies you will love this church. They have an infant room if you would like to be at church with full focus on worship. They also have a baby lounge in case you dont want to be inside the temple and prefer a more cozy environment but still be at church and see the service in a screen. In an adjacent room to the baby lounge they also have a nursing room in case youre not comfortable nursing in the temple or baby lounge area. They also have an outdoor sitting option with the service playing in a screen. .

Linda Ridge Johnson: Ive visited this church many years with my niece and her husband whenever my visits encompass a Sunday morning! There are two services. The first is traditional with hymnbook gospel worship songs. The second is contemporary, with songs that are from the later 20th-21st century songbook. The people are friendly, the messages from the pulpit and Bible study groups are based on the Holy Bible, and, most importantly, the Spirit of the LORD abides for whoever desires to come and have an encounter with Almighty God! I recommend this church for singles, young marrieds, families w young children, teenagers, and senior citizens alike! It welcomes anyone regardless of ethnicity, culture, or nationality! If I lived in the area, I would be a member of this church! #MyChurchHomeAwayFromHome

Ana Shawl: I love going to St. Margarets. When you enter you feel at peace because nobody is talking but everyone seems to be in prayer. Other churches it is so loud with talking that you can’t concentrate on praying before Mass. There seems to be a lot of respect for the Blessed Sacrament here! Now the sound system is fixed and that is a relief. That was my only complain before is that it was hard to hear and understand. Very reverent Mass!

Lorraine Kratz: Enjoyed the concert, loved the many Christnas trees that were on display. There were two noticeable areas were there could be improvements-- the way tickets are obtained. Once you purchase you should be able to print them up, we had to go to will call & wait & wait. Glad it was not raining out. #2, womens bathroom needs to be monitored the handicapped stall was in sad shape.
