The older I got the more I broke out my shell and throughout my life I have faced battles that at a young age and being grown now are battles I wouldn’t wish upon my worst enemy. Battles that made me feel like I was at war with myself, the devil himself, making me feel as though there was no purpose for me anymore. Yet there was one place that reminded me of who I am and has been a home for me where I can be a better me; NCT. My Pastors always are there to be a personal ear for me to hear me out and give me Godly advice and allowing me to believe that who I am is not justified by my past or by my trauma, but justified by the Faith I carry with God. This place saved me from the darkest places; saved me from walking away from life itself. How? They reminded me that I am loved, I am known, and that the Kingdom needs me just as much. I have a family here and I wouldn’t want to find any other new family. I love my home and this church will always be a home to a new heart that walks through those doors. Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your path straight.”

5 /5 Robert Perez: I have been a cameraman here since pretty much I got there which was over a year ago and God has moved in my life. Glory be to God because it’s not just the church it’s Him. All the pastors all my brothas and sisters in Christ here at NCT are a blessing to my life they look out for you, pray for you, and provide help truly if you need it. The Spirit of God is in this place and it’s people.

5 /5 Elena Rangel: My family and I are so thankful for our NCT church family. My husband and I have been attending since our parents brought us as kids. Now we serve in this church and we are raising our family here. Our 10 year old is learning about Jesus through our wonderful children’s ministry. She is growing in the word of God and is having fun as she learns. She especially enjoys singing in the kids choir.

Shadow Mountain Community Church South Bay - Chula Vista

Chelz T: I help out both the youth and kids programs, everyone is sweet. This church, is good for kids, teens, young adults, adults, and the elderly. If you like listening to Pastor Jeremiah on the radio or on tv, you can come and listen to him at our church. Yes it is still on the screen but you can get fed with the word here, meet many wonderful people and get some food. There is usually always a donut or two in the cafeteria area. First service starts at 9am to 10am second service starts at 11am and ends at 12pm. We are getting a new pastor that will be there soon.

Giovanna Longobardo: Bayview Church is a wonderful, warm, family-friendly church where the word of God is reliably taught every Sunday by pastor Jason. The congregation is small, but it is filled with kind, welcoming people. The worship consists of hymns. I would describe this church as the opposite of a seeker-friendly church. They will not alter the Bible in order to attract more people. The sermons are straightforward and easy to follow. It’s a good church for people of all age groups. I can’t recommend it enough!

Tatiana Bello: I went to Mass at 11 in Spanish. The sitting and entering/exiting the Church has great arrangements. The message and prayers were beautiful. The Church has a nice breeze to it with large ceiling fans. The decor and paintings are beautiful and touches your soul when you see it. The parking lot to come in and out is one way, so there is light traffic getting out.

Joseph Aragon: Attended this church due to a freinds parent Viewing. Very modern church. Not too big or small. Good lighting and sound. Parking is lumited but street parking is available. Overall a nice place.

Concordia Church - Chula Vista

Catherine Boda: My youngest daughter graduated pre-k from Concordia yesterday and she is our second child to go to school there. I didnt realize how emotional I would be knowing that yesterday was going to be our last time bringing our kids to school at Concordia. Every single person on staff to Ms. Schmidt the director, Ms. Rachelle the assistant director, and all of the teachers (special shout outs to Ms. Priscilla, Ms. Phyllis, and Ms. Amy) have been absolutely amazing. Both my daughters are really shy around strangers and everyone at Concordia has made them feel safe and comfortable. Every day after school when I asked, "how was your day?" the answer was always, "Great!" or "So much fun!" Thank you to everyone at Concordia for a wonderful experience and for preparing my daughters for kindergarten and beyond. We are going to miss the Concordia community!
