5 /5 Just_Materials: Hey! Recommend: Sarah! Go to her! She does textured curly hair and transforms it into nice styles. I got a blowout, with wash and detangle yesterday. Only took about 2.5 hours. She was very hands on and down to earth.

5 /5 Rebekah Tweed Fox: Ive been seeing Kate for a few years now, and I couldnt be happier with the results. Shes a great listener and always takes the time to understand exactly what I want. I primarily go to her for a cut and gray blending, and shes always thorough and detail-oriented. Shes open to discussing multiple options and care needs. My hair is quite long and fine and there is a deceptive amount of it- she absolutely never rushes through the process and makes sure everything is perfect. This last time, instead of the usual ashy blonde toner, Kate used a smokey indigo, and Ive been getting a lot of compliments--notably-- even strangers at the grocery store or while walking my dog, have stopped me to say how great my hair looks. I literally havent gone outside without someone commenting on it. Its the first time in a while that Ive had such a noticeable change, and I love it. Kate is also very personable--shes easy to talk to, funny, and always professional. If youre looking for a stylist who listens and takes the time to deliver awesome results (especially if youre looking for someone whos absolute pro at color), I definitely recommend her. I also want to note that the front desk employees are also always friendly- both in person and on the phone. To make an appointment, its probably easiest to call, but I think I scheduled my first using their online system. **Note- Apologies to Kate- I didnt style my hair for this photo. It was taken today, inside under florescent lights at work, more two weeks and several washes after my appointment**

5 /5 Jessica Haslam: As a resident physician, I dont have a lot of time to spend on my hair, but for my upcoming wedding, I really had a vision of having a beautiful blonde balayage! I had already recently gone to another hair salon in Brentwood, but they ruined my hair so much that I was embarrassed, and honestly a little bit anxious about What I would look like my most special day... Then one of my co-resident suggested Luxelab, a salon that shes been going to since she went to undergraduate school here and then through medical school and I knew that with my limited free time, I need it to go to a place that I could trust. The first moment that I met Coco, I knew that she would be able to help save my hair! The way that she triaged the damage that my hair was in was so professional, and she did an amazing job giving me the hair that I have always wanted! A whopping 6.5 hours later (with multiple naps from myself and a grueling arm workout by coco!), my hair was saved, and it was beautiful! I might be a doctor in real life, but I have dubbed Coco, my hair doctor!! She sent me home with a prescription for my hair, including these hair products, and has even followed up with me the day prior to my wedding to see how my hair (and I!) were doing The salon itself was also so clean and smelled so good, and all of the staff were so kind! Of note, there is free parking!! I didnt realize that at first, and I had to keep running out to pay for street parking again Coco was so nice and said that she would help me move my car, but I didnt want her to have to worry about it, and that next time I come back, I will make sure to park in the free parking spot in the second floor! Also, the pricing is on par with other hair salons in the area! Its worth every penny!!

5 /5 Captain Soul: Been to this salon before multiple times. They always seem busy, which I suppose is a good thing, yet the vibe is still pretty relaxing. I also love the nice, easygoing vibe of this section of Santa Monica. Got a cut from Coco for the first time. I was offered a beverage as per usual before getting started. She did a fantastic job, obviously very knowledgeable and experienced. Shes very good at listening to your needs and concerns and is meticulous with her work.
