  • What Clients Are Saying about Lucchesi Vineyards & Winery (on GG)
5 /5 Patricia Rodrigues: I went there looking for a romantic afternoon with my husband. And it was perfect. The guy who poured our wine tasting was very nice. We had a wonderful afternoon drinking wine and enjoying the Sierra view. And you can bring your own snacks.
2 /5 Aviv Goldsmith: If it was a warm summer day, these sweet wines could be enjoyed on their minilawn with a Sierra view. Otherwise, tasting the mediocre wines in an industrial setting lacks depth and charm.
5 /5 Bill Schrimpf: View Forever Road. Yep! The winery has two large areas perfect for snacks and a enjoying a bottle of wine! The grounds are beautiful and clearly loved by the owners. We will be back.
5 /5 Olivia Gulsvig: I highly recommend this exceptional five-star wedding venue. The enchanting and unique experience felt like a beautiful garden party, complete with stunning views, great wine, and happy guests. Linda, the property owner, was fabulous and accommodating, making the planning process easy and enjoyable. Overall, a special and wonderful day thanks to the outstanding efforts of Linda and her team.
5 /5 Jaimie H: Kid Friendly (I have a 16 month old). There was Connect Four and a Big Jenga. Lots of grass areas where you can keep your children separate from those wishing to just enjoy their wine and the view. There are quite some big hillside drops so obviously just keep an eye on your kiddos, like you should be anyways. The gentleman pouring our tastings (Matt?) was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. The Chardonnay and Cab Franc was my fav. Such a beautiful view high on the hill side WOW.

Jorge Aleman: This State Historic Park is amazing. The museum is well taken care of. Small and rustic but it shows in detail how life was in the 1800s to 1900s in this area. Adela, the Park Ranger at the museum was very friendly and is a great source of information for the Malakoff Diggins Museum. She warned us about bears and sure enough, on the way out of the hiking area, I saw a black bear down a small stream. It ran down the creek and away from us when it saw us. We took off in the opposite direction.
    Pioneer Park - Nevada City
    Pioneer Park
Lillian: Pioneer Park is in the foothill town of Nevada City, CA. It’s a beautiful 16 acre park with gorgeous mature trees. There’s a baseball field, basketball courts, tennis courts, bocce ball court, horseshoe pits, little league field, playground, green lawn space, picnic area, and bandshell. The walkways are paved and ADA. In addition, the public swimming pool and Lodge are located here. The park hosts summer concerts and special events. The Lodge is a hop skip n jump next door to the pool, playground, and basketball courts. It’s an event building available for rent. It has a kitchen, restrooms, tables, chairs, projector, and seating for 120 for dining. There are picnic area throughout the park as well. The areas have tables, BBQs, and some have electrical hookups. These can be reserved via the parks and recreation website. There is a creek that runs through the park that’s makes a beautiful trickling sound when the water flow is high. Peaceful vibes. But as in all public spaces, please be cautious and aware of your surroundings.

    J. Collins: Queen Anne Victorian house built in 1896. Open for visitors on the 1st of each month, FREE no charge. Knowledgeable docents on hand here as well as at "The Colony House and Barn", that are on the same property. There is a whole lot of history about "Old" Orange County CA that you can learn about here. There is plenty for all ages. We visited the 1st Saturday in May 2025. They had well prepared outdoor craft activities for the children to put together and take home.

Andrew McCauley: The Dr Strange show was very lame! After waiting a long time and then get served up that very mediocre performance… very underwhelming

    Minnies House
Jacqueline Avon: Loved Minnie Mouse house! I felt like I went back to my child hood when I entered. The house is just how I remembered it 30 years ago. Brought me tears of joy that I was able to share a piece of my childhood memory with my 3 years old daughter. Thank you Disney for being part of it. Will come back again every year to take pictures again.

Kyle Mika: I was throughly surprised by this simple ride! It had some fun little buildings of a lot of stories in the Disney franchise. It’s an actual boat and the balance might seem strange but a great ride for little ones!

Cindy Fernandez: I honestly did not have any good expectations for this place, but I was impressed! I always see the place driving by and didnt think it was even open anymore. It was actually my sister in law that wanted to bring the kids here. They state theyre usually only open on the weekends and open all week during the summer. The place is much bigger than it looks. It has more than 10 rides. This is more kid friendly and a good place to introduce them to rides. They have a roller coaster that reverses. Prices were affordable. Food options are not bad. We got pizza and it was okay but not disgusting. If you want to eat food from home, youd have to step outside, but you can come inside after. They even have Starbucks shop inside the park with an ice cream shop attached. Hope this place stays open for a long time!!

Gary Dundon: If you like carousels, this is a fun little one themed to the characters from Midway Mania. Its nothing super special, but its a nice little edition to the area.
