5 /5 Brendan Kiely: Lower Eagle Falls is a great place to hike to on the West shore of Lake Tahoe. You will need to hike down to Vikingsholm and Emerald Bay to reach the lower falls but there is plenty to see on this area and the lower falls are worth the hike down. Best to visit in late Spring at peak snowmelt when the falls are roaring.

The journey began with the mesmerizing Eagle Falls cascading down the mountains, creating a picturesque scene en route to Lake Tahoe. Originating from Eagle Lake, the falls culminate at the majestic Lake Tahoe. Although we didnt embark on the Eagle Lake Trail, the view from the road and our visit to the end of the lake at Emerald Bay State Park were unforgettable. The 0.6-mile hike from the park lookout to the visitor center offered a challenging yet rewarding experience. The bridge at the end provided an up-close encounter with the lake, showcasing Eagle Falls in all its glory. The falls, flowing vigorously, left us awe-inspired, prompting us to capture numerous memorable moments through photographs. Highly recommend this gem for nature enthusiasts and those seeking a picturesque escape amidst the wonders of Lake Tahoes surroundings!

5 /5 Brady Bowyer: Relatively short and rather pretty little hike up from Vikingsholm visitor center and beach. Definitely worth hitting since youve already made the trek all the way down from the road.
