Lavish Nails and Spa - Auburn Tina Cook: I walked in without an appointment and was seen in less than 10 minutes by Kim for a new set. She wanted me to try a coffin shape with ombre glitter and Im so happy with how my nails turned out! The salon itself is very nice, clean, and spacious. I will be going back to see her again!
Mood Nails - Auburn Lorinda: Serviced by a lady for pedicure and Danny for nails. I was so so happy to get a service after 4 years of not being able to. Very Blessed and in turn gave a grateful tip of $30.
I wanted a manicure to help my nails look clean and groomed, Danny advised powder dip which is full of good benefits for nail health and makes them grow strong. They also suggested dip so it would last at least 3 weeks is what they said even longer. The dip starting falling off on day 10 and by day 14 most were fallen off completely and my nail health is awful since. It had been 4 weeks now and I returned for a pedicure and standard manicure. I asked for Danny to see what went wrong on my last service and Lauren started yelling at me which working on a customer. She yelled, so you were not happy with your manicure and now your back for a pedicure, why!? I had my 4 year old with me to treat her too, and asked Lauren if we could speak another time in private. She started mouthing off angrily in her native language. Ill never return. That was so embarrassing and I was fine returning, maybe I was allergic but did ask my friend about her nails and she said dip was not at all beneficial and that was a lie. He alsondidnt trim excess skin or push cuticles or add oil after which another salon did and apparently is standard.
I was most displeased with the way lauren snapped. I gave a chance to go back and glad this happened and will go to another, this is not the most highly recommended. Plenty more to choose from, Fresh Nail across street is Amazing and super welcoming.
