1 /5 Brittany Nelson: I was unaware that Jazzy secretly took photos of my hair to post on her Facebook and instagram as a profile picture and just post of advertisement. She did not ask me if it was okay to do so and I feel taken advantage of because she did not ask for my consent to take the photos to begin with or permission to post the photos on any social media platforms. My hair is personal and very intimate to me and i just wanted to get my hair done, pay and leave. I had only been to 2 appointments with Jazzy just to share that I don’t know her well enough for her to take the photos without my consent or permission. Please be aware of your surroundings when in her facility. If you do not wish to be photographed let that be known because Jazzy will not tell you otherwise. I feel so uncomfortable knowing that this is something Jazzy does when your vulnerable sitting in her salon chair when your intended purpose is to just get your hair done without being used in any other way. She has removed the photos of me from her instagram but on two separate Facebook profiles one personal and one for the jazzy is hair salon business page they are still up even after asking her to remove them from any and all profiles. It’s one thing for me to have a choice or say and it’s another for someone to take the option away from you for their own benefits. I am a very spiritual and this has crossed my boundaries. I will not continue to use her services.
