Located in a really neat location with the water and being right at the heart of downtown Stockton but could use a bit of a sprucing up.

Micro Phone: Very nice small park. Plenty of shade and two small playgrounds for kids up to 12 years of age. A small area for skateboarding with a rail. Two water fountains on opposite sides of the park. Several dog stations to pickup after your pet. There are times when the skate area is tagged and full of broken glass. It seems to be cleaned up quickly. Its never been crowded when I have visited.

Shumway Oak Grove Regional Park - Stockton

Kat: I love this park. Its $5 on the weekdays $6 on the weekend, and an additional $1 per dog. There are some nice walking trails. They arent too long but its secluded enough that it feels like youre up in the hills. There are a lot of benches, tables for picnics, paddle boat rentals, and geese. Oh my, lots of geese. The goose poop is everywhere so plan to wash your shoes! The old oak trees are awesome. I love taking pics of them in black and white. The large playground area is closed, it would be nice for the kiddies of they would get that up and running.

TheSilk 99: Very Ghetto and Run down park, Home to many transients. Definitely not a place to hang out, Shooting occurred 10/03/2023 and innocent bystanders were shot. I would steer clear. Not family friendly or Dog Safe

Alex Stenberg: A good time for the family. The pool was clean and cool. It wasnt overcrowded, and it was only 2 dollars a person. I think the hours were from 2-5:45 Saturday and Sunday. Theres a playground on site as well. Great, cheap time for the family. Btw, the pool only gets about 5ft deep.

Micke Grove Zoo - Lodi

J.Maximus Miller: Today I was able to help my wife chaperone her 1st grade class field trip. This is a small zoo. But it was fun, the kids enjoyed it. And it was fun to show them around and let them learn about the different animals. And after we were done inside the zoo. When you come out the front gate. You can cross the street and have a picnic lunch like we did. There was plenty of shaded picnic tables. Enough for both classrooms to set and eat. Then the kid played with balls. And did a scavenger hunt in the picnic area. Bonus was that there was a very clean bathroom for boys and girls. And it was just across the street from the picnic area. And these are streets in the Micke Grove area. So the roads were not busy. It was safe for the kids to use the restroom.
