They listened to my concerns regarding my fine hair and it was clear throughout my service that hair health is a priority here. There was no pressure to know exactly what I wanted, and he was very receptive to any feedback throughout my appointment. For the first time in a long time, I was finally able to relax (rather than anxiously watching like a hawk, worried that the stylist might cut too much off or change plans on me). I LOVEEEE my haircut, and am so relieved to be done searching for a salon to commit to. Thank you :)

Desperate for a cut, I searched online and called Dr. Sammie. She told me to come on in, saying, “I gotchu,” and she absolutely delivered. I have incredibly curly hair and don’t trust just anyone to cut it, so I was nervous at first. But watching her work with such ease and skill—it was clear she knew exactly what she was doing. Dr. Sammie has been cutting hair for over 30 years, and her expertise really showed. She handled my curls beautifully, giving me exactly the cut I wanted. It’s not about the type of hair you have—it’s about the stylist’s skills, and Dr. Sammie’s are unmatched. She washed, cut, and styled my hair at a great price, all while making me feel at ease. It just so happened to be my birthday, and she made the experience even more special with her humor, attentiveness, and amazing energy. I even learned a little Chinese during my visit! When she was done, I left feeling lighter, freer, and most importantly, confident. My curls looked amazing, and I couldn’t stop smiling. This photo is of the haircut. Color was done earlier, but the CUT!!!!! Chrystal always does such an amazing job with my really complicated, thick curly hair. I love the energy and the environment here, super chill, clean and friendly. They’ll having you look like your best self in no time!

Mark Wheeler: Tanya is talented and experienced and it shows. I get my hair dyed blue and cut into punky shapes and she has the vision and execution to make it look better than anything I could even imagine myself. I have wavy/curly hair which some stylists dont understand how to work with but she gets it. Her skill with bleach and dye makes my hair color last multiple times longer than anyone else has ever been able to get. She does great work on more traditional styles too as Ive seen with other friends and customers.
