5 /5 Kacia Keegin: Shelby is absolutely amazing. For the first time ever I have a stylist/colorist who knows what shes doing hands down. I had super long roots and I have very long hair. I was running late and she was very flexible. She was fast, professional and very very nice. I am disabled and then a wheelchair and she was able to accommodate me in a very professional manner. My hair looks so great. Ive gotten a ton of compliments on it. I will never use another colorist/stylist again. She has a client for life.

Shelby takes pride in her cuts, she makes sure that your cut is what you want and is not scared to let you know what she thinks.(if it will work with your face/style). Her attention to detail is spot on. The location of the salon is in the heart of downtown Bakersfield. The new remodel of her place looks great! The tin ceiling and brick accent wall make the place feel like you are somewhere else besides a Hair salon. Shelbys attention to details and hospitality keeps me coming back every two weeks! My hair was scraggles mccraggles and almost to my waist, so it was a lot, but Shelby was a real pro. And she is the best to laugh and chat with while I sit in her chair.
