04-2025 Hair Gone Wild in The Best 18 Hair Salons in Sacramento, CA (part 2) Mecca Salon - Sacramento Southgate Dental: I am a very honest person, if you look at my reviews you will see that I post mostly positive reviews, I feel like this is a very fair review .I am giving one star for personality of technician, very sweet girl, she is very hospitable, the second star is for timliness, she was very punctual. The 3rd star was kept because the price that I thought I was paying and what I paid was not correct. (Make sure you go over money in detail and have your client sign something) I wanted a full extension experience done impeccably, not half of a job, I would have paid way more for it to be done right, which now I am. (-$760 in the whole) The 4th star was kept because she did not cut my hair or blend it well or blow it fully out nicely, this is what a real professional technician let me know, there was so much information that I, a new person to extensions should have been told, The 5th star was for the charge to my credit card that I did not authorize. I was exhausted that day, I forgot about the appointment but I usually get at least one chance, that grace should have been given to me. It honestly hurt my feelings and that is the other reason why I decided not to come back. I was very nice, Life happens, extend some curtesy. At the prices that are charged you would have been fine not charging me. The honest thing here would be to give me at least 50% of my money back. It would say alot about your integrity as a person. We are all working hard out here and its expensive for everyone, regardless, there are lots of lessons to be learned here for everyone. Please stay blessed and remember that the good you do comes back to you, it really does...
The Banyan Tree - Sacramento Lindsay Dearman: Had my first hair cut with Samantha recently. Chopped off about 4 to 5 inches and added layers to bring out my waves. It was a lovely experience. She is super easy to talk to and gave me the exact haircut I wanted. Highly recommend!
Sadie Styles Salon & Scalp Massage - Sacramento Victoria Ryan: My third cut and style since losing the long hair (which Sadie also did wonderfully).
New cut I got today is PERFECTION
I also got a super relaxing scalp massage followed by a cut that brought enthusiastic compliments for months!
Oak Cove Salon - Sacramento Rachel n: I absolutely love this salon! I’ve been coming here for what feels like years now, and every visit is a great experience. The vibe is so chill, and the space is beautifully designed with bright, natural light that allows you to truly see the color of your hair. They also offer a variety of complementary drinks, which is a nice touch!
A special shoutout to my stylist, Krista—she’s amazing! She always takes such great care of me and my hair, and I really appreciate how well she communicates about what’s realistic for my thick hair (which can sometimes be challenging!). I’m constantly getting compliments on my hair, even months after a visit.
I’ve been so happy with every experience here. If youre looking for a stylish, upscale environment that also feels cozy and familiar, Oak and Cove is the place to be! Highly recommend!
Red Salon Art - Sacramento zara bupara: i got my hair dyed there in early may, it’s almost july and my hairs still bleeding. i didn’t get what i asked for at all i showed multiple all over color photos and got chunky bright blue highlights in my black hair instead of the all over blue. it’s bled everywhere all over my clothes and walls and bedding. my skin is almost permanently blue/green as well. when i went in to get it fixed she still charged me to fix the roots which were extremely bright blue highlighted and made me feel hideous. they also said it was normal for it to bleed and maybe it was at first since i went in a couple days after but bleeding for months is not and i know that for a fact bc ive been coloring my own hair for over 8 years now. its just really frustrating that i went to get my hair done for the first time at an actual salon as a treat and it’s just resulted in months of aftercare and money. i attached my reference photos shown and then how my hair looked after. the picture of my neck and hands are from early mid june so well over a month since i got it done

Salon Cuvee & Day Spa - Sacramento Victoria Butler: Massages by Nichole are nothing short of magical! I love her approach, which is more intuitive and customized, and not someone working a checklist. I’ve had two so far and both were completely different based upon what my body needed at the time. I left feeling like a lighter person. She’s gentle yet strong, utilizes all kinds of tools, and offers cupping and reiki. The vibe of the room was very relaxing and she exudes good energy.
Wild Ones Salon - Sacramento Halli Dalebout: Wild Ones truly treats you like family. When I began my hair journey with virgin hair back in September 2023 I never would’ve thought I’d grow to love a salon and a stylist so much. Delaney has been styling me the whole way and is always one step ahead of me. I am blown away every time by how seen I feel when I walk through their door. We’ve done it all!

I’ve been wanting to get extensions for a while but I had no idea what I was getting into. Jaime allowed me to come in and talk to her for as long as I needed before committing to anything. She’s amazing! She’s honest, she’s not trying to sell you the most expensive thing, instead she’s more interested in what is best for you.
