Joseph Carrasco Park - Oceanside
Joseph Carrasco Park
Jason Grasso: Perfect place to take your dog especially since its not a sought after park and is pretty much a giant grass area so dogs love it
LEGOLAND California - Carlsbad
LEGOLAND California
Carly Moreno: So much fun with a 4 year old!!! Went in early May so there was quite a bit closed for renovations and water rides were not open. Some parts were disappointing, but for the cheaper ticket price and low crowds, it still rocked for us! My son rode 15 rides, showcasing how kid friendly it is! I would say cap age is 8-10. It was peak for my 4 year old!! Edit to add: the Hideaway playground is incredible. I, as an adult, had the best time playing with my son. If only one playground is on the agenda, save it for Hideaway! It’s also right next to the BBQ restaurant which was a great stop-eat-play area!!
Miniland USA - Carlsbad
Miniland USA
Nick S: Miniland USA is a walk through exhibit within LEGOLAND showcasing various landscapes and scenes from across the United States and other countries. We came here when they had a Star Wars exhibit as well, showcasing scenes from the movie. The exhibits themselves are pretty nice looking, with large attention to detail as well as easter eggs located throughout each exhibit. There really isnt much to say, but its a great photo spot to take photos of and enjoyable for kids to look at.
Wave Waterpark - Vista
Wave Waterpark
Thao Adam “Exodus”: First time here today! It was a blast. The kids had a great time. Between the indoor pool and the outside water play area my kids had an all day adventure. I really like how the indoor pool was GINORMOUS and I really liked how it was separated into 4 sections. There were PLENTY of space for everyone. We loved it we will definitely be back!
Leo Carrillo Historic Park - Carlsbad
Leo Carrillo Historic Park
Sunita Vij: A true hidden gem. Seeped in history and serenity. Huge grounds for meandering around and lots of shaded areas for a relaxing picnic. Park volunteers are very knowledgeable and friendly. We got a nice tour of the structures and stables. Also spotted 3 peacocks strutting about.
iFLY Indoor Skydiving -Oceanside - Oceanside
iFLY Indoor Skydiving -Oceanside
MIKE OAKLEY: This location is top notch. We were stuck in traffic going to miss our reservation time frame by 30 minutes, Stressed we called and they took the time to move our appointment around to still have us fly without a long wait time. My son loved it for the first time and the instructor gave him the courage to be more comfortable. The high fly and feeling like the instructor was there but not holding on to him was his most exciting part he told us. He had so much fun he wanted to come back the next day to fly again. Coming three hours to fly was well worth the trip. Thank
LEGO Ninjago World - Carlsbad
LEGO Ninjago World
Alex Budchanin: This is the first attraction that parents with children visit when they come to Legoland. I recommend skipping Ninjago World and coming in the late afternoon when the line is shorter and you dont have to wait 30 minutes.

Allison Seitz: What a beautiful way to spend an afternoon. We came in October, and I still think about this place (and this wine)! We were fortunate enough to show up on a day that had a chocolate and wine pairing... seek. this. out. Kim was the sweetest, and so hospitable. George couldnt have been a better host. This will be a repeat spot for us on our trips to Oceanside!! Notes: Uber got us there and back just fine, but make sure youre at the right gate before you get out!! The address on the website is the correct one.

High Seas Drifters - Oceanside
Madison Loucks: I’ve sailed with High Seas Drifters more times than I can count, and every trip has been a blast. These folks really know their stuff—but more importantly, they know how to make you feel right at home on the water. Whether you want to lounge on deck with a drink in hand pretending youre in a yacht commercial, or actually learn the ropes (literally), they’re happy to go with your vibe. Holly and Jay strike the perfect balance of laid-back and professional. Always good vibes, always a good time. My favorite aspect is that you can really see how much they love and care for the ocean and all its creatures while encouraging everyone to get out there and enjoy it. If you’re lucky you might even get to see a whale or a pod of dolphins! Highly recommend if youre looking to drift away from your day-to-day and into something a lot more awesome.
