3 /5 Diamond Touvell: Its nice!!! Peaceful play area playground has a baseball field gated some grassy Bathrooms are working and water to wash your hands.....homeless is off the trails but hey its California what does anyone expect...

5 /5 Steve Sloan: I really enjoyed this park. Its great because theres not a lot of homeless people that hang out there. Nobody bumming cigarettes off of you. Nobody asking for spare change. Spare change? Is that even a thing anymore? Also, I wish people would clean up the dog mess when their dog takes a mess. Ive noticed this quite often with people that have dogs. They just lay their pile and the dog owners just walk away. They leave it there for your kids to step in. A lot of , but not every Dog owners nowadays are so disrespectful when they do not clean up their dog mess. These dog owners that do not clean up after their dogs should be fined heavily for leaving nasty message behind. I used to like to go there and have lunch but it just smells like dog mess now. Irresponsible pet owners.

2 /5 Trixie Travolta: This used to b an AWSOME park! And tho the playground has been updated, it no longer feels all that SAFE with the homeless invading the surrounding area. Theres a fenced in baseball diamond, misc. Picnic tables thru out the park, but I would NOT go there ALONE with ANY children. Unfortunately ALL the parks in TEHAMA COUNTY are like this, EXCEPT for CONE GROVE PARK.... its too far out for the homeless, I suggest u go to THAT park instead.

3 /5 Marisol Negrete: My son had a lot of fun at the playground. Although the bathrooms are poorly taken care of . There was no toilet paper. Also there was a man there sitting on one of the picnic tables and looked to be on drugs. My son and I did not feel safe exploring the rest of the park.

Kelly-Griggs House Museum - Red Bluff

John Bennett: It was a very nice little museum. The docents were very nice and well-informed. No cost all donations. Nice history, but not enough about Kelly-Griggs themselves.

Jake Jackson Museum - Weaverville

John Grana: Stopped by this small museum on our way back from Trinidad to Redding. Needed to stretch our legs after the long windy mountain drive ;-) We had pulled over in front of the Jake Jackson Museum. Decided to check it out. Wow, what a great find. We spent over an hour inside! So many great artifacts/fossils/old instruments and the people running the museum are wonderful. My wife asked about the headwaters of the Trinity River. She was directed to the town historian - a nice, knowledgeable person (she thinks his name was Mr. May) that spent 45 minutes going over maps and a few books telling her a lot of the history of Weaverville, the Trinity Alps and the Trinity River. I explored all the exhibits! Some really great displays of old miners tools, old medical equipment, shotguns, various instruments - far to many to describe here. It doesn’t look like much on the outside - and is not real big on the inside - but it is packed with tons of local historic information. If your passing through Weaverville and have some time - don’t miss this place! BTW, it’s free - but there is a small donation box.

Joanne Scott: We enjoyed our visit. Interesting place. You have to be part of a tour to see inside the Joss House but fortunately they showed us around though we got there at 1:15 and the official afternoon tour time had been 1pm.

Amy: Cute little park with a section for playing in the grass thats perfect for running and imagination play. Play structures were clean and bathrooms were as well. Even with soccer practice occurring it was fairly easy to get parking. Nice little park! 1st time visit, would like to visit again when I come to the valley.

Helen Cummins: Its totally worth the money. This place is clean, well organized and so well kept. The stations make sense, are educational and fun. My daughter loved it. There was an indoor and outdoor space. Bring sunscreen bc there isnt a ton of shade outside and the sun is a blister.
