Juaren Frausto: This place is VERY hit or miss. Over the course of several months I’ve visited this barbershop and no two visits were the same. Most times they opened late, sometimes no one has showed up, usually one barber so really long wait times, prices have gone up to $20 for a men’s cut, randomly set appointments (you may be waiting, think your next, then boom, an appointment walks in and you’re stuck waiting longer). The inconsistency is why I would not recommend this barbershop.
ara: The lady there was way too aggressive, she was pulling my hair. She didn’t even try to give me the same cut as the inspo pic I showed her. Overall, it was a horrible experience, never again. Basically I paid $30 for something totally different from what I wanted. (Btw I’m a girl so I don’t know how they cut for guys)
karla Ramirez: Been coming here for about a year and Ive been very pleased with Alvas work! Her great character, customer service, and patience is one of the other reasons I continue to come with her. Not to mention that her prices are amazing as well. I highly recommend Avaris Hair Salon! Edgar Nolasco: I come here alot . Its never packed . And not just one but several of the hair stylists here are great with mens and womens hair. Good with beards and mustaches. The prices are fair. They sell hair products here. They have a restroom for customers. Parking here can be tough Id advise parking at Valero or 7/11
Jess Z: Walked into this place a week ago for a price on a Balayage. Xochitl (owner) right away quoted me a price then referred me to one of her stylish Marlene for her to quote me on a price & to do the job. After quoting me a price $10 less than Xochitls quote. I decided to schedule my appointment with them. I week later I walked for my appointment & I reconfirmed with Marlene on the price which she agreed the same price she initially gave me. After being there for more 6 hours Xochitls kept being very unprofessional telling my stylish Marlene, shes charging me too cheap. I then told Xochitl YOU! quoted me a price $10 more than Marlene. She right away started saying its going to be allot more because they are using allot more products than they should have. I was very upset & told her. you cannot quote me a price at your door then once Im on your chair tell me its going to be more! She started getting upset at her stylish Marlene telling her its her fault for giving me that price and she should have only done half my hair for that price, with the exception of Marlene as a stylish Xochitls is running her business very unprofessional not knowing what to charge initially for being in business for 20 some years.
She treats her staff very unprofessional in front of customers. I wouldnt recommend this place!
