First Med Marin: Barry Landfield, MD - Greenbrae (CA)

5 /5 Ivan: I am a new patient for Dr. Landfield and was delighted when he took the time to personally get to know me. He was interested and interesting. He reviewed my medications, made recommendations and changes and coordinated a full array of lab work. His staff was helpful and friendly and I left feeling that I had made a good decision.

5 /5 Debi Nguyen: Dr. Landfield has been my general practitioner for over 6 years. His staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Dr. Landfield is kind, caring and has the best sense of humor. He genuinely cares about his patients well being. He takes the time to thoroughly answer your questions. I cant imagine having another general doctor. Which is why I truly hope he never retires!

5 /5 Jeff Leh: Im a relatively new patient of Doctor Landfield, and am very happy so far after my first couple of visits. I moved from San Francisco where I had a primary care physician, and wanted a primary care physician local in Marin. His staff was great, text reminders for appointments, and Doctor Landfield took a lot of time with me during a recent annual physical reviewing lab results, etc. Glad I found him as Im not a fan of concierge medicine or working with multiple doctors in a larger practice.

5 /5 Jeanine Lin: My MD of many many years retired several months ago and it took me a couple of months to find a doctor that was accepting new patients. Well it was worth the wait! I didnt have any "illness" reasons to see the Dr., but was booked an initial "meet and greet" appointment. I was told the appointment would take about 30 minutes, and possibly a 30 minute wait time. I arrived to my appointment on time and was called in for my appointment after a 10 minute wait time (which in my experience with all doctors is pretty good!). As I was waiting and other patients were coming in and out, I noticed that the staff members knew everyone by name, without having to ask their name. Dr. Landfield came in and introduced himself, shook my hand and immediately made me feel comfortable. We spent the next 20-ish minutes going through my health history and I felt that was genuinely paying attention to me (he was taking notes but not on a computer so he was making eye contact with me, unlike the ONE Medical doctor I tried out). All in all, it was a good first visit, and I imagine that they will all be as complete and thorough.
