5 /5 W OBrien: A community centered church with welcoming parishioners. I had a chance to visit this church for services and was impressed by the large and well kept sanctuary. The sermon was well presented and provided metaphors that one can connect to our current daily lives. The music played here was very good. There was a trio that consisted of piano, string and brass instruments. The trio played professional quality sound. The parishioners were very welcoming. Snacks and coffee were available after services.

I haven’t been to church in 20 years, and this was my first time at a Christian church. I asked my boyfriend (who was also raised Catholic) if he wanted to join me, and he said yes. Yesterday morning when we arrived, we were immediately greeted at the front with warmth and a welcoming atmosphere. I felt a sense of peace and belonging, no judgment or fear. The whole experience incredible, I was deeply moved by the Pastor’s words and cried several times during the baptism part. I left the church feeling loved, renewed, and filled with joy. Thank you Calvary Church for helping me strengthen my faith in God.
