2 /5 jim gausling: Probably the most impersonal doctor I could imagine. I arrived to my first appt at 9:15 for a 9:45 appt. At 12:15 they came in and said the Dr left and I would have to reschedule. I thought I would give him a second chance, and his Atascadero office was so cold, they were advising people to wait in the hallway. Unfortunately 90 minutes waiting in a freezing waiting room increased my pain level several levels and it was also increasing the pain caused by increased spasms.
He never took his mask off, and I couldnt understand half of what he was saying. He didnt examine me??? We had a consult from the opposite side of the room from each other, with zero examination. He is telling me he wants to inject into my spinal cord, but DIDNT EXAMINE ME!! Yes I was frustrated, but seems counterproductive for a pain doctor to increase pain levels at each appointment.
