Deer Island Open Space - Novato (CA)

4 /5 Liz Armstrong: Easy walk with mixture of shade and sun. In the morning we went left and the hike started in shade. If it were getter hotter I would start on the right and finish in the shade. We finished in 45-50 minutes at a brisk pace.

5 /5 Greg Daggett: Nice little area overlooking the North Bay tidal marsh. Limited parking adjacent to an industrial area but should be fine outside of peak times as this is not a destination spot, more of a locals getting a walk in their backyard spot.

5 /5 Level Au Chat: Great hike. Saw a turkey and had a bunch of sweet ladies chase me up the trail. I couldnt let me catch me.

5 /5 Maria Ekstrand: Several narrow, winding trails forming two loops of easy hikes, taking approximately an hour each. Pretty views of hills, especially at sunset. In spring, the fields are covered with wild flowers. Usually not crowded, at least not in the early evening. Dogs need to be kept on a leash.
