05-2025 Darys Beauty Salon in Discovery 19 Beauty & Hair - near Modesto, CA page 1Salon Two Zero Nine - Turlock Gigi Evers: Very disappointing experience considering how excited I was to try this salon. The owner did my hair and never asked me what I wanted, she just started working based off I don’t know what plans. I paid $250 (5 years ago so it’s probably much more now) to get my hair colored and she put in maayybee 25 foils total in my hair. I have thick hair that’s over 24 inches long. Needless to say, the difference was basically nonexistent. She didn’t say more than a few words to me the whole time and then handed me off to a different young lady for the wash and styling. I felt manipulated when the owner came back after and said my hair looked great. It was obvious that almost nothing had changed. I had to message her and come back to get more foils put in and even that was only 5-10 more along the front to create the illusion of change. It was my first time ever getting my hair dyed and I was let down in so many ways. The photos below are before, during, and after. Since then, I have heard more negative experiences about the salon. I don’t know if they are deleting reviews but it’s common practice for businesses these days to do so, it seems. Anyway, if this review helps one person it will be good enough.
Inspirations Salon - Turlock Alexandria Izarraraz: Jessica Silveira is absolutely amazing. I have gotten all of my eyebrow waxing from her as well as my hair. I decided to chop my hair that was down my back to shoulder length. I was so nervous but Jessica did an amazing job and totally took care of me. She always goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy with what you’re paying for. Every time I get a wax my brows come out so great and she’s quick and painless. Highly recommend Jessica.
Bliss Salon & Spa - Turlock Brittany Rodriguez: Had a prenatal massage with Ashlyn. Best prenatal massage I’ve had by far. Was visiting home from out of state & have been struggling with bad sciatic pain while pregnant. It’s been a week since my massage and the sciatic pain is gone. She put me in the most comfortable positions for the belly. Put different pillows to make sure I was comfortable. Her spa room is so relaxing! Might have to fly back just for another massage
Forever Beauty Hair Salon, by Jackeline - Turlock MARCELA ESTRADA: After looking for a while in other places with many failed attempts and poor customer service, we finally found a hair salon that meets our needs. As a working mom I definitely needed a place with fast response and convenient hours. Jackeline was great at providing not only convenient hours and reasonable prices but also an outstanding service and great quality. My daughters are both really happy! I guess I’m next! ;)
Salon Reinvented - Turlock Deb: Megan is amazing. Her talent and ability to hear her clients concerns and needs is refreshing. I adore my cut and conditioning treatment. I would not go to anyone else. She consistently rocks !!
Renū Salon & Spa - Turlock Leticia Espino: Kayla is the absolute sweetest and did a fantastic job on my hair! The salon is spacious and well kept with a feel good environment.
