Lilly: Such a lovely place to experience if you wanna go on a stroll and discover various types of plants! My favorite was the bonsai garden. It felt like a runway for bonsai. Only qualm is the lack of bathrooms.

Jonathan Swan: A beautiful wonder of the Foothill area, around the corner youll find a hill. Once upon a time there was a swing hanging from one of the trees. I broke it. Lol. Guess I was fat. Its a calm, quiet spot in the middle of all this ruckus.

Tammy Davidson: Peaceful, water, boats, water front walkway that’s a bit rough. Plenty of parking. The rowing teams practice from the aquatic center. Fascinating to watch the 10 person rowing teams. Other boats are sail boats anchored off shore Today was nice and no wind until 5:00 pm. Nice place to let traffic clear up. Wildlife can be seen on the water

Stephanie Lauber: This is one of my favorite hikes. Really beautiful and lots of interesting plants grow here. There are even ladybugs congregating here during the winter. The trail is a bit narrow in some areas and there are lots of roots/rough terrain, but I liked it because there werent many people here. And no dogs allowed (on most trails)! I love dogs, but so many people disobey the leash laws and ruin it for everyone else, so it was really nice walking here without tripping over peoples dogs off-leash or stepping in dog poop. Will definitely come back here.

Cyril Castuciano: On a lazy Sunday morning, it can be a real good place to sit down and just have some alone time. Not the best sights nor it is quiet, its next to the Port Of Oakland after all, it does offer that unique solitude.

Corey Shih: Awesome, old school wooden park that was clearly built with love. Exploring it with my two year old brought back happy memories of my own childhood. Its also dog friendly and has a dog run thats adjacent to the second, more modern playground. The only thing I dont love about it is the sandbox, which my kid would literally roll around in if I didnt stop him.

Ryan Hoger: Nice park. You can’t see the actual remains of the navigation trees, but just a marker stone. Still cool though.

Jason Simone: Fantastic people here! Walked in after open art times had ended. They were busy and didn’t need to help us but they still found some fun activities for my five year old and gave her lots of attention. Miss Shannon is amazing!
