G Street Auto Care - Merced Bryan Schear: Went in for 2 tires (one had unusual wear), alignment, oil change, and asked them to check the brakes. They charged too much for all that ($1k) but they were recommended by a gearhead friend so I figured they would be pretty competent. They werent. A little over a month later my son was driving home and noticed a grinding sound. The brakes were completely gone.
I gave an extra star because the person I dealt with was reasonable and refunded me $30. Judging by the reviews, it seems to really be a case of hit or miss with G St. I wont be gambling with the safety of my children.
