Camp Pendleton Hospital - Oceanside (CA)

5 /5 Paige Aufderheide: I had my baby boy at this hospital and I loved it. I was originally on Tricare Prime and hated the hassle caused by other doctors in Oceanside. I finally switched to Tricare Standard and I now go through the hospital for almost everything. Everything is in one place, and the doctors, nurses, and corpsman are all very friendly. I really lucked out with a good doctor who helped me deliver my beautiful little baby. Its a newer hospital so everything is very easy to find and very nice and clean. I understand not wanting to use military medicine for everything, but this happens to be a very good facility.

5 /5 Serjio Gonzales: This is truly an amazing hospital. The structure, curb appeal, parking, services, etc. Great location compared to the older naval hospital; which was more centrally located, but this one is near the freeway and new PX (think huge Wal-Mart, the largest in the Marine Corps from what I understand). The pharmacy is huge, and has several windows to tend to its customers, but its always extremely busy. Theres plenty of seating, restrooms nearby, a new mini shoppette, a dining hall, a location to drop old expired medication, both stairs and elevators to each floor, plenty of handicap parking, and so much more. Its got everything! Those who live on base, or have authorization to use its services should feel fortunate.
