06-2025 Blue Gum Park in Hight rate 19 location for tourist in Irvine, CA, USACol. Bill Barber Memorial Park - Irvine Max T Tran: This park is a beautiful and spacious destination, perfect for events like proms, weddings, Quinceañeras, and graduations. With a charming fountain, vibrant flowers, and a small picturesque waterfall, it offers a stunning backdrop for photos. The large open fields provide plenty of space for soccer and baseball, while the wide, well-paved sidewalks make it ideal for walking, jogging, biking, or simply enjoying the fresh air.
Families will love the multiple playgrounds designed for kids of all ages, including a dedicated swing area for toddlers, safely separated from the main play structures. The rotunda, covered in climbing flowers, adds a lovely touch to the park’s beauty. There’s also a designated dog space, making it the perfect spot for pet owners to let their dogs run and play. Whether you’re planning a picnic, a family gathering, or just a relaxing day outdoors, this clean, well-maintained park offers something for everyone to enjoy.
The Escape Game Irvine - Irvine Bentley P: We had an absolute blast here. We chose the special ops challenge and it was indeed pretty challenging. We ended up finishing using one clue and with 3 1/2 minutes left. Our whole group really had a great time. We will definitely come back sometime.
MUSEUM of WOMAN - Irvine Rian Galbraith: The Museum of Woman offers a unique and empowering exploration of womens history, culture, and spirituality, providing an enriching experience that celebrates the contributions and stories of women across time.
Chaparral Park - Irvine Ray Lin: On a Saturday afternoon, we visited Chaparral Park located in Turtle Rock Community and hiked the trail to Sunset Point. The well-maintained trail offered a moderate climb.
On the top, you see the views of the city. It is a hidden gem for those seeking a scenic hike. Highly recommended!
Northwood Gratitude and Honor Memorial - Irvine Kevin Judd: This is a great park. Well maintained but it is sad that we need to have such a place and you hope that no more names will need to be added to the list of people who have made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve our safety and way of life. May we always remember and honor our servicemen.
Lake Forest Heritage Hill Historic Park - Lake Forest Leif Satermo: Very cool to see the buildings of Lake Forest. Entry is free and there was nobody around when we went on a Thursday afternoon. Self-guided tours are pretty cool. Not much else to say except its interesting to see how the community developed and the work that was put into the parks creation and upkeep. Most of the buildings are handicap accessible.
Citrus Ranch Park - Tustin Afrin Sopariwala: 900 lemon trees, dirt trail (which i like much better than cement) beautiful views. We love this park. Not any tree cover as the lemon trees aren’t tall, so we don’t come when it’s hot in direct sun, but lovely morning/evening walks.
Heritage Community Park - Irvine Louis A.: This part is very nice and very dog friendly but I just have one complaint. There is an overabundance of duck feces and no one to clean it. The water filter doesnt seem to be working as most of the parks smells very bad. But they have a nice playground and lots of people bring their dogs here. It is next to Irvine high school and there is a big library nearby with a music and arts center. Random women preaching Christianity in the park
Inspiration Point - Corona Del Mar Ben Davies: Had some time to kill and wanted to drive around since the weather was so nice! Stopped here and then continued up to “the viewpoint” on the Newport Coast road. This is an easy 1hr round trip to kill some time and see the most beautiful views of the ocean I have seen yet. Absolutely stunning and the homes are nuts!!! After the viewpoint I went to “Top of the World” in Laguna beach and drove back to the airport via the canyons. Even during rush hour this was an easy trip to make and was a highlight of my trip!
