1 /5 N J: I established care with a PCP, Dr Christopher Wong, at this location and was subsequently abandoned as a patient. It took a lot of work to get all of my medical records to their office (by fax of course since that’s all they would take) and now they are saying it has been too long since I last saw him so he will no longer care for me as a patient. I always paid my visit bills, was polite, etc.
His receptionist told me on the phone to look on the back of my insurance card to go find myself a new PCP. It’s really challenging as a patient to find a doctor you click with, get all your records over to them and have them get up to speed on them, and re-establish the care relationship. I experienced a total lack of compassion or any sort of assistance from Dr. Wong’s office. There is a reason that care abandonment is considered malpractice!
