space cadet What a horrible experience. I threw away just under $2,000 at this horrible shop. The first time I picked up my car the gas throttle cable was completely loose… like how?? The oil leak repair looks like a joke… looks like they unevenly used gum, it’s a so unprofessional. The oil leak has only gotten worse and the alternator they replaced is almost already ruined because they never fixed that oil leak properly even after I took the car to them two or three more times. “The work was guaranteed” but they would keep my car for a week or two and not fix it… they take advantage of women here, I would never recommend this shop to anyone

Cynthia H We asked that they check all the fluids and change the oil and Air filter. But no one bothered to tell me the battery and cables were in terrible condition. One of the cables was practically coming off. We asked him to check everything real good. Now Im wondering if the oil ever got changed.

Brandon C. Not a direct customer, of Nacho but my customer I sold brakes to had a horrible experience. Safety is not his priority, while the kit purchased from me was incorrect for John Does car. Any mechanic would have seen the difference between a solid rotor and a vented rotor and that SHOULD have raised a red flag. Did it? I can not say with any certainty. But what properly qualified mechanic should have done was stop the install when the new replacement caliper(s) had stripped banjo bolts from the manufacture. A stripped banjo bolt WILL cause the loss of brake peddle pressure, preventing the automobile from stopping like it was designed to. Additionally, leaking brake fluid COULD hinder other vehicles from stopping when the loss of traction to the tires is interrupted with oil. Admittedly, that is a far fetched scenario but still a possibility. The installer should have made notice that the rotors were different, and should have stopped when he noticed the caliper(s) were stripped. However, he didnt do either (based on what ive been told by the actual buyer of the brake kit) and proceeded to install. Seriously, this is a HUGE safety issue and a proper mechanic would consider the safety of other before making a quick buck.

Alex Ford Nacho is a pro and a kind man - I had an issue with my cars coolant level past Sunday - errors started popping out. He started out with a good advice and a few options to proceed with. As a result - I swiftly continued my trip and the car run just fine with no coolant errors. Highly recommend him! Nacho - thanks again!

We stopped by even without an appointment, Luis jumped out and diagnosed a gas cap issue that he promptly re-seated and off we went. Didnt ask for a dime. What a guy; we need more people in the world like Luis. Should be called One Minute Auto Repair!

Ian Willmer Luis and his mechanics gave friendly and professional service while fixing my door lock mechanism. They also went the extra mile when he helped me with another problem with my door while my van was in the shop. Good price and good service. Would recommend!

Imru Currie Andi and his wife (mostly dealt with the wife - who was FANTASTIC) helped me out when I was out of state visiting my Mom. Mom referred to me to El Puente because they are reputable and honest, and she gets her repairs done there. Even though I wasnt enthused to fork over a few hundred dollars for repair, it was work needed on an older vehicle. This visit happened at the beginning of the pandemic, and in conversation Andis wife discussed concerns about cutting employee hours due to business slowing down. Despite this, she was able to offer a reasonable discount (Im that consumer who always asks) and engaged in light conversation and jokes and importantly was knowledgeable and detailed regarding the work. Even though I was simply passing through, this made me feel like a valued customer versus feeling they were out just to collect my money. When in Oxnard, IF i ever need future auto repairs - will be sure to return. Definitely reputable and honest! P.S. Claim your business page on Yelp, ask your kids to help you!

Val J These are the typical rat mechanics who charge you for having their establishment established but still dont do their job, bad service, no receipts, and very expensive. Be careful, you are actually going to waste money and time with them.

Rick Morales This place is great! I tried several different places and always seemed to be disappointed for one reason or another until I was referred to My Garage. I found my home, Fernando the owner is fantastic, very knowledgeable and many years of experience. His wife and son make up the rest of the staff, they really are wonderful people and always a pleasure to deal with. I completely trust My Garage with my vehicles and nobody can beat their prices, not for the quality of work that they do. Try them out, you wont regret it, seriously they get an A+ from me.

A Howe My check engine light popped on due to a busted O2 sensor. I quickly realized that I lacked the equipment to DIY fix it, but I took the replacement part to Oaxacas Auto Repair, and they installed it for a reasonable price on a Saturday afternoon as a walk-in within a couple hours. The shop is small, connected to the local community and seems to be family run; everyone is friendly. I would come back the next time my car needs help!

Gage Redwine THESE THE BEST MECHANICS AROUND NO DOUBT!! Brought my car in for a new exhaust setup and they not only did that for me but helped me out with multiple high end performance parts and far exceeded even my own expectations. The guys worked diligently and professionally and were extremely knowledgeable. After 2 hours past closing time they were still putting in work for me and changed all 4 of my tires because they were really bad. I can’t express enough how thankful I am for the guys looking out for me.
