Highly Recommended 7 Dinner Restaurants Near Red Bluff, California

Jeremy Cowin We’re visiting family in Red Bluff and spending time at all of our favorite spots, so it probably feels like I’m leaving a lot of five-star reviews—but this one is well deserved. Carlitos is hands-down our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. We especially loved the Christmas decorations this time around. The food is excellent, but honestly, the service might be even better. Drinks were never empty, refills showed up before we had to ask, and the staff was incredibly attentive the entire meal. One moment that really stood out: our grandchild finished coloring on his kids menu, and out of nowhere one of the staff members showed up with a fresh coloring sheet and new crayons. No request, no delay—just thoughtful, friendly service. The staff here is always welcoming, observant, and genuinely kind, and that consistency keeps us coming back. The only downside is the parking lot—it’s a bit rough—but that’s not their fault and absolutely shouldn’t stop anyone from eating here. If you’re looking for the best Mexican restaurant in town, Carlitos is it.

Jessica Ault Great place for pizza! A lot of options and sizes to choose from. Simply order at the counter and then grab a table and wait. Our pizza was hot and delicious. Kids got pasta and they rated them 9/10.

Oscar Mendoza Great burger. I got the Hangover burger, nice juicy patty and well fixed. The fries have a nice golden crisp and soft inside. Cant wait to try my banana pie slice! Great service too considering there were only 2 servers during a rush Edit: The Banana pie is DELICIOUS.

Mark Shnider Came in and got a country fried steak breakfast and a strawberry French toast slam. They have so many options it’s hard to choose. Food was hot, service was fast and amazing. My wife loved the music that was playing, it was a great night out

Genesee Todor I tried this place for the first time and it’s very tasty! The fries and tots are the best I’ve ever tasted and stayed crunchy and hot till the very last bite. The burgers are simple yet classy with a slight explosion of flavors. They use red onions which elevates their special sauce’s flavor. The servers were very nice and respectful and answered all my inquiries nicely and thoroughly. I look forward to adding this spot to my routes on future road trips. :)

American Angler I filled up at the station and asked the kid there which of these fast food places has the best cheeseburger, and without hesitation he pops off Jack in the Box! Man-O-Man was I surprised by that answer, so I asked him why... He gave me a bunch of nutwack crazy reasons, but when he said theyve got this special Sourdough Cheeseburger that they make extra special for him...I was all in! Then he said tell them its for Dirt Clod at the gas station, and thats exactly what I did. That cheeseburger was Amazing! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

mondo kunz Its been about 15 yrs since Ive been here, & man Ive been missing out! The food was great (Bacon wrapped shrimp). The service was great. Nice quiet atmosphere. And the price was easy on the wallet. Very happy!
