3 /5 Lisa Ly: The atmosphere of this location is beautiful, though once seated, it felt comparable to being in an Applebees. We also felt like the waiter kept forgetting about us, leading to lapses in service.
I ordered the sushi tower, which was delicious; all the ingredients paired really well together. The seafood pasta was also delicious, however, the sauce became unbearably salty toward the end. Perhaps there were too many capers, but it was still good overall.
I also ordered the espresso martini. After one sip, it literally tasted like watered-down vodka chocolate milk. Thankfully, I was able to send it back and got a bourbon jet, and that was delightful.
Dessert was just okay. I got the red velvet cake, and it was extremely dry, but the waiter did a wonderful job writing "Happy Birthday" on the plate.
Prices on certain items were reasonable, but some were insane—for example, the $16 watery espresso martini is egregious. While the food was good, I probably would not go back and would instead venture into other restaurants.
