3 /5 Eugene Chen: Generic udon place with prompt service and clean space.
Standard options of beef, curry, and tonkotsu.
Udon was on the softer side.

We had the ultimate Tonkotsu Delux and the Nabeyaki udon.
The large portions were about the size of regular portions at similar places. The pork-based soup and the nabeyaki broth tasted fine, but nothing special. I appreciate the dried bonito powder on the side for the tonkotsu udon. It allowed a flavor change for the soup. Besides the sleek and modern interior, I found it hard to differentiate this place from Marugame in Stonestown. I actually prefer the doneness of the udon at Marugame.
If you are craving udon in the area and there is no line, maybe give it a try. Its serviceable. The yelp wait list was nice. The service was prompt and cordial. I feel like they wasted the space near the bar.
