Trailhead - Novato (CA)

3 /5 Hugh Williams: Honestly a very confusing experience. Food: - my wife loved the enormous Spicy Poke bowl, which was the star of the show - The Brussels sprouts and Mac and cheese were both mundane and drastically overpriced - Smoothies and coffee were both good - They were out of a lot of items Vibe: - Felt like it was trying to do too much. 4 huge TVs were a distraction for our child in the main room where a guy was constantly asking for channel changes. - Outdoor seating was nice, but you’re in a strip mall parking lot.

3 /5 M D: We peddled on over to Trailhead for lunch. The pulled pork sandwich hit the spot and washed it down with a refreshing lemonade. The BLT on focaccia bread had a bit too much bread, good amount of bacon but needed maybe a bit more of the lettuce and tomatoes. Slaw was a bit tart for my liking. It’s a great spot to come to after a hike, bike ride or workout. Nice view and people watching.

5 /5 Zach Craig: Veterans Day today, and this place was off the hook busy. It took a while for my (unbelievably delicious) egg sandwich to come out, but when it did, it came with a sincere apology from Pat and a gift card for the delay. Coffee was amazing too! Would/will recommend!

1 /5 Nicholas Batora: This place has potential, but unfortunately the food and overall experience fell short. The kale salad arrived without any kale, and the chicken sandwich was overcooked to the point of being burnt. For the prices they charge ($15 for a sandwich that only comes with a small bag of chips) you’d expect much better quality. The staff also seemed disengaged and uninterested in being there, which didn’t help the atmosphere. Overall, it was a disappointing visit and not worth the price.
