5 /5 Lisa Watson: My first time here was for an event and I had remembered how fresh & flavorful the food is. My son and I came in for lunch today before a movie and enjoyed a perfect meal. The chips (housemade) and fresh salsa were delicious. I had an ice cold Corona which was so refreshing on a hot day like today. I had the avocado tacos - delicious although would have liked a bit more avocado. My son liked his steak tacos very much as well as the limeade. The presentation of the food is beautiful and the decor colorful. Even the dog bowl they keep out is Mexican pottery!

5 /5 P S (we.must.consume): Its definitely not my typical Mexican restaurant. But since I had a gift card I went here and used it. I got the birria of plate, fundido with chorizo, strawberry margarita, pina colada and the tamales plate. My daughter described it tamales plate is something different, she said the monster was a consistency of dessert like cheesecake. So she wasnt a fan of the masa, she only ate the chicken which was not placed inside the tamale but rather on top of the Masa. She did state it had good flavor. And I expected the video to be more juicy because from my understanding I believed birria was a saucy beef thats marinated. But nonetheless, everything tasted good. The salsa isnt spicy so I needed something a little bit more flavorful and spicy I believe the food is definitely catered to appeal to the majority of the people that patronize the place and live in the city. Im just used to more flavorful Mexican restaurants. I would definitely drop back in for some dessert, drinks or appetizers. The drinks were perfect. I believe the tortillas are made in house.

3 /5 Sandy Gardiner: Pleasant environment. Nice waitstaff. Slow service. Food was just ok. Sister enjoyed the salad. I had the vegetarian burrito. It was huge but just ok. I added the guacamole to the burrito which made it good. My other Sister was disappointed with the vegetarian tamale and ate just a little of it though she was very hungry. Homemade tortillas. !
