1 /5 Bona: We just came back from eating in this restaurant, today we chose Old Spaghetti Factory in Roseville to celebrate our daughter’s 15th birthday because we’ve eaten here before and usually had good experiences. Unfortunately, this visit was extremely disappointing and ruined what should have been a special night.
Our total bill was $119.30, yet the service was severely lacking. After our food was delivered, our server, Anna, never came back to check on us. We were not offered water, drink refills, or even asked how our meal was. My daughter ordered a drink and was never checked on for a refill.
At one point, my two-year-old son needed water. I asked our server, but she never returned. We eventually had to ask another server just to get water. What made it worse was seeing our server walk past our table multiple times while actively serving nearby tables and even taking time to show something on her phone to other guests, while we couldn’t get basic service like water or straws.
My wife spoke with the manager, Jason, and his response was disappointing as well. There was no empathy, apology, or effort to make the situation right.
This was especially upsetting because it was a birthday celebration and our daughter specifically chose this restaurant. Sadly, the experience fell far below expectations. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both service and customer care.
