The Old Mill Restaurant - Lower Lake (CA)

5 /5 Mike M: First time here and this place is amazing. You almost pass it driving downtown through old Lower Lake. Outside looks remodeled and very nice, with great woodwork craftsmanship. Once inside, the place is on the small side but very welcoming, clean and perfectly spaced with lots of television and clear view of the outside through large windows. Not to mention the warm greeting we immediately received once we entered through the door. We came around the beginning of lunchtime so there was no crowd, but that quickly changed towards the end of our meal which tells me the place is pretty popular! We ordered the bacon cheeseburger and French dip sandwich from the lunch menu and they were absolutely delicious! I asked for medium rare on my burger and it was on point! We both agreed that fries were a hit… perfectly cooked, the right amount of seasoning and crispness/crunchiness!!! Definitely on our agenda to visit again and try their breakfast and dinner menu!

4 /5 Anthony McCool: We liked it okay. No major issues. I did have the street tacos at a special price. Beef tasted like it was cooked yesterday and warmed up. Served with cilantro and raw onions. Wish it was cooked with the onions, skip the cilantro and add pico degallio on the side with sour cream. Good service, he had a thick accent but he did his job. It was clean and so was the restroom. 5 /5 August Schmitt: The food is very good. Authentic Mexican dishes with American choices. The owner is an extremely friendly and welcoming person who makes everyone feel like family. Also the orange juice is freshly squeezed and the best Ive ever tasted!

5 /5 sam magruder: Stopped here for breakfast on Saturday. The staff is super friendly and nice. Great service and kitchen is pushing out high-quality delicious food in a timely manner. I had the two egg breakfast with hashbrowns and bacon. I asked for them to be crispy because he can’t have either if they’re not crispy! The kitchen cooked them perfectly thanks for the great breakfast

5 /5 Gisela G: I was in the area and decided to stop. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. My husband got the 8oz ribeye steak, and I ordered the huevos rancheros. We also ordered a quesadilla, and it was good. The food was very delicious. However, their Orchata was watered down.
