4 /5 James Kasem: Went with six people for brunch and we shared food. Everything was tasty but the breakfast sando and Monte Cristo were the standouts.

5 /5 John Quinn: A lovely spot with great service. One of the best breakfast I’ve had in recent memory. My daughter and I split the avocado toast and the breakfast sandwich on brioche bun. Both were amazing.

5 /5 Derrick: I have not had food like this in a long time. Everything was spot on! The steak was perfect, juicy and at the perfect temp. The hummus was so flavorful. I also got a margarita pizza that got me full mast! No joke, this food was so good I would take a bullet for the chef! Compliments to him! The staff seemed like family. Very nice and professional. Fortunately for me, I was seated next to the hotel management team who were very nice and down to earth people. I will definitely be back so I can try some more masterfully crafted menu!! If you’re in SLO, you would be wrong if you didn’t eat here.

5 /5 Lisa and Tim McMahon: We went in on NYE w/o any reservations! Thankfully, we found a couple of seats at the bar. Natalie, one of the 2 bartenders that evening, greeted us immediately. Didn’t have to wait long for our drinks even though the place was packed. She was very friendly and personable. We ordered the ceasar salad (yummy!), short ribs and pork chops. Very savory. For dessert, we ordered the smores brownie. It was perfectly not too sweet. We stayed at Hotel Cerro which is connected to Oak Grill. The next day we went back for brunch. We sat at the bar again. This time we chatted with the manager, Alex, who was also very friendly and personable. I ordered the Caesar salad again, but this time with chicken (quite juicy) and a side of bacon. Later that evening, we stopped in one last time to get a night cap and we were happy to see that Natalie was working the bar again. She knows her stuff! Everyone there is so friendly and the ambiance is great!
