1 /5 Ashley Roman: I’m giving 5 stars only because the person working the counter doesn’t deserve a bad review as they were clearly doing the best they could with the situation they were in.
I stopped in for a shake thinking it’d be quick since there was hardly anyone inside. There was just one customer before me, someone waiting outside, and maybe a few phone/online orders. Even so, it ended up taking 20 minutes just to get a shake (nothing that needed to be cooked).
Meanwhile, another employee was in the store but focused only on stocking. At one point, the phone rang and instead of answering, they handed it off to the person already making all the orders, which slowed things down even more. On a Saturday morning, not even lunchtime yet, it felt like there just wasn’t enough support for the counter staff.
The shake itself is great, but the management/scheduling setup is what made the experience frustrating. Customers should really come before stocking shelves when the place is short-handed. I only stopped in because I was at the bakery down the road which was packed with people and had a line out the door where I had to wait on the sidewalk for my chance to order. Some how that took less time than it took for me to get this shake.
