5 /5 Tye “Tyester”: We stumbled upon The Dog House searching for a quick lunch. It’s 4 minutes from the Blue Lake Casino Hotel, where came for the holiday weekend. The Dog House is a quaint rustic enclave loaded with flavor fulness in every bite, a true foodies delight. I ordered the heavenly vegetarian sandwich loaded with yummy fresh vegetable, pesto spread, pepper jack cheese, and cowboy candy (sweet jalapeño sliced peppers) with a side of light creamy jalapeño soup. A perfect balance of heat and dairy. Darcy, you really put your foot in that jalapeño soup!! My partner went with the more traditional chili dog loaded with homemade sauerkraut, cheddar cheese, and more. We can’t wait to come back for the mountain high stacked nachos. Thank you for a wonderful food experience.

5 /5 Harry Salvini: Hands down the best burger yet! I got the smash burger with avocado. I am in love! Worth driving out of the way a bit. The owner (Darcy) and her assistant were on top of everything. Fresh ingredients and the best hamburger patty! Sorry the photo was all thats left. Next time Ill cut the burger in half and share that photo.

4 /5 Kathleen Hutchinson: I’ve had smash burgers here, always good so this time I had soup and a sandwich both were delicious. It was Chicken poblano soup, lots of chicken and excellent flavor. The sandwich was a special. I don’t remember the name but it had apple and Brie cheese with arugula, Larrapin mayo, and balsamic vinaigrette reduction.It was a panini sandwich and very good. It needed more apple as there was only two thin slices so I really couldn’t taste it.

4 /5 Foxy: I ordered a hot dog with just ketchup, mustard, and relish. It as fine. I wish the temperature was hotter. For the price of a dog, I’m not sure I will be back. The people running the stand are awesome. Super nice. It’s a stand, so you order and get your food and eat in your car or at the park bench.
