4 /5 Lillian: It’s super awesome that Diamond Springs has Solid Ground Brewery. My family enjoys meeting up here. It’s family friendly even though it’s a brewery. Besides their beers, they have pretty tasty food menu options. Plus they occasionally host live music.
They offer tasting flights of beer, cider, and wine. 5 choices for $15 for beer and cider, and $21 for the wine. The hamburger is pretty darn tasty. Hefty, juicy patty. Family members raved about the shrimp sando. The shrimp is dressed in a butter mayo, seasoned with Old Bay and served on a toasted New England roll. But when we ordered it last week, all three sandwiches had the shrimp undressed and just seasoned with Old Bay. Ohh I was feeling skinny and wanted that butter mayo (butternaise). It was still tasty though. To add, the shrimp are a good size, not tiny but get real … not jumbo either.
