5 /5 Bishoy Tawfik: I heard a lot about Papa K’s, but I wasn’t expecting that he truly brought the taste of Egypt to OC. As an Egyptian and a seafood lover, this is one of the best seafood dishes I have ever had. Please keep up the great work and the amazing food quality!

5 /5 Sam Hosein: Nice Middle Eastern restaurant. The menu has lots of options. We ordered the beef shawarma bowl and gyro bowl. They were both good but I enjoyed the gyro more as the beef was a bit chewy and a bit salty. Unfortunately, they sold out of the chicken shawarma, which is what I really wanted to try. Perhaps next time theyll have it. The staff is very warm, friendly, and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated with Egyptian pieces. Theres plenty of indoor seating and a few tables outside. Plenty of free self parking too.

5 /5 Eliza Jane: Incredible authentic Mediterranean food! The fresh pita was fluffy perfection. My favorites were the steak, gyro, and chicken shawarma plates. Expect longer wait times (but worth it for all in house fresh made food), very casual dining, but very attentive and kind service. Baklava is 100%! Don’t underestimate this little spot!!

5 /5 Charles Greene: Absolute perfection! My dear friends from Egypt ordered for the table. We had fish and shrimp with drinks from the cooler. I had mint-lime. I had a feast that would make any king jealous. The fish fell off of the bone in one (1) clean pull. The seasonings were incredible. The shrimp were massive, fresh and full of flavor. To top off the meal the baklava was heavenly. To anyone reading this review I would seriously encourage you to get a group of friends and family together, come to this restaurant and enjoy an outstanding meal.

4 /5 Alli Yu: It was in an odd location I would never have thought of. We decided to try this place after an Egyptian friend recommended it to us. You order at the kiosk and then pay at the register. Not sure that really saves you time or effort. We can with a rather larger group but it was easy to find seats. We were lucky it wasnt overly busy and it was a Sunday. The food took a little bit of time but thats to be expected. The homemade pitas were hot and fresh! Very generous. My plate looked great. The salad was fresh and not overly dressed. I would just ask for no onions the next time. The kiosk doesnt allow us to modify so that should be an option. My chicken was moist and tender. Not overcooked at all which was nice. The hummus was good. They accidentally gave me the Tzatziki so I tried it. It was very watery with no flavor. I was not a fan. Friends got the bolti fish which does take over an hour but it was very moist and had good flavor. Plenty of parking.
