4 /5 Alma Barocio: Finally got a chance to come here with my family for dinner. It was close to closing time on a Friday so not super busy. The place is super cute, I didnt know that they served Boba drinks bit we didnt try those since we were there for the food.
My daughter really liked her miso soup, except for the tofu but shes a picky kid so no big deal. My husband enjoyed his shrimp and tempura. I was really impressed with the the freshness of my salad and the delicious vinaigrette that camp with it. They were out of beef so I had to order the chicken. My teriyaki bowl was tasty and the vegetables fresh as well, it was more food than I expected and I couldnt finish the sald and bowl.
The restaurant was pretty cutely decorated and clean. The service was ok. My only real complaint was the fried foods. The panko crust and batter was great, however, due to the age of the oil the flavor was not the best. It may have been due to it being at the end of service, but if they change their oil more frequently it will take the fried foods from 4 to 5 stars.
All in all, the food here is good. Will definitely eat the teriyaki again and I am probably going to give their fried dishes another shot.
