1 /5 Jen: I normally do not write negative reviews, but the service we received yesterday night was outright unacceptable and disrespectful.
My boyfriend and I used to come here frequently before moving away, so we were shocked by how poorly this visit went. From the moment we arrived, the service was careless and unprofessional. We were lazily pointed toward a table instead of being seated properly, and no one explained the new iPad ordering system or checked whether we were familiar with it.
Our grill was not turned on, and we were never brought water—at any point during the entire meal. The meats arrived (the grill was still off) and we had to flag down another server, who was the only attentive and courteous person we interacted with, just to get basic assistance. When the original server (an asian guy) later came over, he adjusted the grill incorrectly and turned it off. When asked to fix it, he was visibly irritated. While replacing the grill, he dropped it loudly and carelessly, causing food (raw meat) from the old grill to spill onto our side dishes and table.
On top of that, the tablet at our table was not properly connected to its charger and died about 20 minutes into our meal, further showing a lack of attention and care.
We were quiet, respectful, and not disruptive at any point. Despite this, we were made to feel unwelcome. The final straw was when the server came to our table while we were clearly still eating—with food on our plates and on the grill—and said, “I’ll bring you guys your check,” even though we never asked for it. This was extremely rude and made us feel rushed and pushed out.
The entire experience felt dismissive, careless, and unprofessional. We wanted to leave early but didn’t because we had already placed our order through the tablet. This visit completely ruined what used to be a place we enjoyed, Im not sure if were ever coming back. Their menus got smaller as well and the price were more expensive than it was which I get since everything is expensive these days.
