5 /5 Ivan Martinez: First time dining at the Ming Dynasty. The restaurant is filled with bright red lanterns and ancient scenery. The service is great. I just needed more time to look over their menu. Their roasted duck plate caught my eye and I decided to give it a whirl. It took twenty minutes to prepare the meal. The dining room slowly filled with a strong aroma and people began to tremble. I was getting nervous. I didnt know what to expect. The final dish arrived at my table and it was perfectly crafted. Bright red duck pieces were surrounded by green broccoli. A Native American would have been proud. A small side of rice was also included in the meal. The duck itself does have a unique taste. It must be high in myoglobin. The thick, brownish meat was not easy to devour. Wildly different. No, it does not taste like chicken. The thick skin was worthy of saving in a doggie bag though. I wish they gave out fortune cookies.
