5 /5 Jesse Gregor: Great restaurant! The Nashville Hot Chicken was amazing. Definitely get the poutine tater tots as well! We were just swinging by for a quick bite and were really impressed with the quality of the food!

I stopped by the store to pick up some items and was greeted by Dee who brightened my day with her upbeat, friendly personality and super helpful with local info and recommendations, including suggesting the cafe for dinner. She didn’t exaggerate! Ordered romaine & radicchio salad and a quesadilla. So good. Delicious and incredibly generous portions. Service was fantastic, enjoyed the bar and the vibe. Will be making Mcgees a regular go to on my trips. My friends will love this place.

5 /5 BJ Favaro: We were surprised to find this little gem of a cafe right at the junction of US 395 and McGee Creek Road for a very good lunch after our three night backpacking trip in the McGee Creek backcountry. Everyone in our party of six enjoyed their menu choices. Tara our waiter provided wonderful service and the setting is pleasant. Definitely worth a stop for lunch (or breakfast) if your cruising down 395 or coming out of the mountains like we were. Get the fried chicken sandwich and cole slaw!
