From the moment we walked in, we were enveloped in a comfortable, beautifully appointed ambiance that felt sophisticated yet welcoming, entirely free of stuffiness. The food is the star of the show here—incredible, authentic Italian cuisine prepared with genuine care and love. Every dish we ordered was a culinary delight. The Lamb Shank was fall-off-the-bone tender and rich in flavor, while all the fish dishes tasted incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. A special mention must go to the fresh pastas; they are, simply put, perfect. The kitchens commitment to authenticity truly shines through in every bite. What truly elevated our evening from great to absolutely perfect, however, was the service. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. We received outstanding service from Habib and "V" in particular, who made us feel like valued guests and ensured every aspect of our meal was flawless. Luna Italian Restaurant is, without a doubt, a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a top-tier dining experience in the East Bay. We cannot wait to return.

5 /5 DG guru: A Delightful Experience This restaurant has been one of my favorites for the past decade, known for its delicious food and beautiful presentation. The staff is incredibly welcoming and kind, which adds to the overall experience. During a recent birthday dinner, we skipped dessert, but the attentive staff surprised me with a complimentary treat to celebrate, which truly melted my heart. I’m grateful for their thoughtfulness and the delicious meal. I can’t wait to return for another delightful experience! Highly recommended!
