3 /5 Sean B.: The setting was quiet, and we were quickly seated at one of the hibachi tables. The server quickly came to the table and took our order. We ordered a fried calamari appetizer, a large hot sake, the tenderloin & scallop combination and the steak & shrimp combination. The meal included miso soup and salad.
The sake was very sour and not good at all.
The miso soup and salad were good.
The fried calamari appetizer was never delivered. The server later apologized, and it was not on our bill when we paid.
The tenderloin scallop combo and the steak and shrimp combo were very good with good flavors. They did not serve the traditional sauces, but the sauces provided were a nice change.
The chef was a good cook and entertaining.
The table service was poor; we had to get the servers’ attention a couple of times during the meal to come to the table. We went to the register to pay our bill because the server was too busy to pick up the payment. We noticed and found out later he was the only server there and he was very busy, so we gave the server a pass for the service.
The restaurant was a little dirty here and there, especially the woman’s bathroom room.
