5 /5 Alma Barocio: Finally got a chance to try this place out. Im so sad I didnt get to enjoy it sooner, this place truly has the best BBQ locally. We ordered a rib plate and tri-tip plate with a couple of sides. The side servings were a bit on the small side to be honest, not sure if that is their usual serving side as some of the other customers photos on Google show much more generous helpings.
Now the BBQ. I personally like my meat cooked medium. The tri tip honestly was well done which normally produces a very tough or dry meat, but they cut the meat into almost deli thin slices so when you bite into it with the onions and BBQ it is remarkably tender. Their BBQ sauce is fresh and you can taste the difference. Now the bbq ribs, they are out of this world. The smoky rich flavor combined with the generous seasoning - Im lucky my husband let me have a bite. 10 out of 10, and I dont say that lightly.
Now, just a bit to keep in mind they are only open Fridays and Saturdays until 6pm or until they run out. Its also a bit out of the way. It took me a bit to find the place but if you follow the directions on Google it will take you there. The gentleman that helped me with my order was very friendly. They dont take credit/debit cards so keep in mind you need cash or a venmo/cashapp account to pay.
