5 /5 Lucky Lucan: after spending Christmas Day and the rest of the weekend my first time out at Harbin, i can genuinely and enthusiastically say it is a special and unique place. no complaints, all praise. well, maybe a small complaint. if they’re going to do it Euro style and be lax on the towels in the steam room and sauna, at least have a hose so people can wash off where their bottoms were or those who were before them. that is all. many happy returns!

5 /5 Caroline Burgess: Harbin Hot Springs is such a special place. The campgrounds are peaceful and well kept - we snagged a platform by the river. There are lots of pools to enjoy, from cold plunges to warm soaks and jacuzzis. I also joined the morning water yoga class, which was amazing. The teacher volunteers, so it’s a nice gesture to bring a tip. Overall, it’s a beautiful and calming spot to recharge, whether you’re there for a few hours or overnight.

4 /5 Ken Hobbs: Harbin Hot Springs is a clothing optional Hot Springs resort. Its been around for decades and is a favorite spot for my wife and I to go and relax. While clothing optional its not a place for creeps. Everybody is very respectful and the rules are such that your privacy is well guarded. No cameras or video in the clothing optional areas. Its also alcohol and drug free. There are several pools including a couple hot pools, a very hot pool and a cold plunge as well as dry and wet saunas. Ive only ever been on weekdays so its not been too crowded but there were plenty of people there for the middle of the week. You can get 3-hour passes, day passes or stay in their lodging in which access to the pools is included. They have food service in the form of a food truck with an attached kitchen. The food is very good. Harbin fell in the path of a fire in 2015 and most of the structures were burned down. Since then they have been endeavoring to rebuild mostly through revenues and some donations provided by fans and frequent visitors. When I last went with my wife in September of 2025 there were a dozen newly built cabins, domes and tent platforms available for rent and what appears to be a 30 plus room hotel under construction. I would recommend Harbin if youre looking to unplug and unwind and it makes a great retreat for you and your beloved partner.

3 /5 anne84664: Frequent hot springs visitor, First time at Harbin. I have never encountered any weird vibes in other nude hot springs but I gotta say the vibe here left me a little - ewww- couples that looked like they were on molly being a little too sexual , sitting in each other and floating around the pool , like, take it back to the room , and some creepy old pervy guys staring and posing a little too long. It just didn’t feel discreet. And yet there are signs everywhere about no drugs or alcohol or sexual activity. Also don’t love the kids frolicking around loudly (I am a parent) Plus with all the day resort passes it was way too crowded. Granted it was Saturday and Sunday so maybe not the quietest time.The facilities are very spread out, a little far from the cottages to the pools. The cottages are nice , very clean and comfy but the very spacious shower is wasted space that could have been used to put an extra bed in some of the cottages for friends who are not couples and don’t want to share a bed. I loved that there is a lap pool and loved the little cafe and the food was absolutely awesome. The staff were friendly and relaxed.

2 /5 Beth Hurewitz: We flew across the nation to have a hot springs healing experience at Harbin, overall were disappointed. We reserved their best accommodations, a nice cabin however issued only 1 towel per person the entire time. No pool towels, only a few lounges at the pools, no coffee or other room amenities, no microwave. VERY RUSTIC! The pools were fairly nice, however for the 3 days we visited, were never cleaned, all water related services had hair, leaves, and the crowds of nude people did not feel entirely neutral because people were squeezed together in small spaces.
